Payden & Rygel Commercial

I arrived in LA at 6:30 a.m.. I love the city...the big buildings and all the lights. The commercial was to take place in the Wells Fargo building on 4th and Grand. Right down the street from where the Red Bull Soap Box Races were taking place. Walking into the building some of the crew was already there. Met several different people trying to put faces and names together, David, A.J, JFC, Bo and the list continued. Most of the crew seemed to already know each other. I, of course the new one was the only female. We set up on the 31st. floor where fresh coffee, juice, bagels, muffins, and fresh fruit were already set up. I waited around for a couple of hours. A couple people came in to get their hair and makeup done. A couple men came in to be powdered. It went fairly slow up until after lunch when all of a sudden there were about 10 people to be powered and made up. It was also more of a rush hour so people were getting shiny and I had to be on set to make sure there was no shine on film. The view from the building was amazing and the director was able to capture this sensational backdrop. We also did a segment in Mandarin which took place in the "Asia Room" which had priceless artifacts that were brought in from Asia. We wrapped it up at about 5:00 p.m. My feet were killing me! I had to repeat to myself "fashion before comfort" ha! It was a long day, but the work was easy and it was pretty fun. I love what I do. The commercial will be on CNBC as well as channel 18 Mandarin channel. It will also be online at http://www.payden.com/.

Delightful bridal party

It was such a pleasure to work with Mia. She was such a beautiful bride. Her demeanor was so collected and calm, despite all the activity around her. Everything just seemed to work out in her favor. I never once saw a hint of frustration or exhaustion only sheer delight. Taking in and enjoying every second of what would be the most memorable day of her life. The bridesmaids were such a wonderful group of girls! So helpful, happy, and easy going. I have never had a wedding party that was so confident and comfortable. They did so well keeping the bride feeling like Cinderella on her way to the ball. Best wishes to Mia and Kris on their life long journey.
